How to play Driving in Chile

Controls

• Desktop: left/right arrow keys or A/D to steer.
• Phone or tablet: drag anywhere on the road.
• Pause: the pause button, P or Escape.
• Resume: choose “Keep Driving”.
• Sound: optional; use the sound toggle.

Scoring and difficulty

The car moves forward automatically. Keep it inside the road boundaries for as long as you can. Your score is the distance traveled in meters. The road narrows and the car speeds up as the run progresses. Touching an edge ends the attempt.

Three things to try

Look ahead at the next bend. Make small steering corrections. Keep room on both sides instead of hugging an edge. These are suggestions, not a guarantee of a particular score.

Saved records and challenges

Your best score is saved in this browser when local storage is available. Different devices have separate records. After a crash, Share Score creates a link containing the distance to beat. Save Score Card downloads an image of your result.

Troubleshooting

If keyboard controls do not respond, click the game first. Switch back to the game and resume if it paused when your browser lost focus. If storage is blocked, you can still play, but your record may not persist. Use a current browser with JavaScript and Canvas support. Report an issue.
