Driving in Chile is a free, single-player browser game about keeping one tiny car on an increasingly narrow road. It takes the long, narrow shape of Chile as the starting point for a fictional arcade challenge. The road bends, the available space shrinks, and the distance counter keeps climbing until your car touches an edge. There is no finish line to race toward. Your goal is to survive farther than you did last time.
You can play immediately on this page without a download, account, payment or advertisement. The game uses a top-down view and a simple steering system. On a computer, press the left and right arrow keys or A and D. On a phone or tablet, drag across the road to steer. Sound starts off, so you can choose whether to enable the game's short synthesized effects.
Choose “Let's Drive” to begin. Your car moves forward automatically; you only control its position across the road. Watch the bends ahead and make small corrections rather than steering all the way from one side to the other. Touching the road boundary ends the run. The distance shown in meters becomes your final score, and “One More Try” starts a fresh attempt.
The first part of a run gives you room to learn the controls. As you travel farther, the road becomes narrower and the forward speed increases. A position that felt safe a moment ago may put the car too close to the next bend. The road conditions panel on larger screens shows the remaining width, while the main playfield works on both small and large screens.
After a run, use “Share Score” to send your result and a challenge link. A friend who opens that link sees the distance to beat before starting. You can also save a score card as an image. There is no shared leaderboard and no account system: your personal best belongs to this browser on this device. Clearing site data can remove that saved record.

Yes. Drag on the playfield to steer. If the game is paused when you switch tabs, choose “Keep Driving” when you return.
Use the pause button while driving. On a keyboard you can also press P or Escape. Returning to a paused run resumes the same attempt.
No. The roads and scenery are fictional. This is a playful arcade interpretation of the Chile geography meme, not a map, driving lesson or simulation of real traffic.
No. Your best distance is stored locally when browser storage is available. Sharing a challenge includes a target distance in the link, rather than uploading a player profile.
